It is Lama Pema´s great wish to be able to finish in her life this huge project she is doing solely for H.H. the 17th Karmapa.

Gyalwa Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje visited us first time in May 2011. He gave his blessing and laid the foundation stone for the Karma Shedrup Ling New Nalanda Institute.

He liked the place and said that, at first, “You should build a temple for the local people. Therefore, they can do their daily prayer and other activities on special Buddhist occasion“.


The land was also blessed by Shamar Rinpoche in February 2012.


We have done a lot of work since then. Currently, we are focusing on finishing the temple building. Hopefully very soon we are able to start on the doors, windows, and bathroom design etc.


Also, H.H. the 17th Karmapa´s general secretary Jigme Rinpoche often comes to visit and gives his advice. He is satisfied with how the construction is going on.

An Extraordinary nun Ani Pema began her practice at the age of five. Both her father and mother assisted her with practice by teaching reading fundamentals and gave her daily homework assignments to strengthen those practices.
